I took Cymbalta for 3 years and progressively got worse. I did improve some after coming off of Cymbalta, was put on Lexapro instead. Was diagnosed with cancer in February 2016. After chemo and external, and internal radiation I have gotten worse and spend most days at a pain level of at least 4 and up to 8. I want to sleep all day and am awake at night. I have very little energy and something as simple as getting dressed or washing my hair is exhausting. If I need to go somewhere I need at least 2 hours to get ready so that I can go slow and breaks often. I used to be very active, would go out with friends, meet people for dinner. Now I spend most 9f my time in a recliner with a cat in my lap. I also used to work, now I could not force myself to last but a couple hours and then would need a day or two off. I am in the middle of trying to get disabilty. Not just because of fibro, but also due to dpression, anxiety, panic attacks, and (thanks to radiation damage) incontinence.
