Fibromyalgia is not an injury. It is a lifelong chronic pain condition brought on by some trauma to the body. In my case it was too many vaccinations too close together while in the military. I suffer moderate pain every day for 25+ years, where pain meds are necessary to take off the edge so I can get out of bed. Normal life is gone, I try to do what I can to take care of myself & my home. Social life is almost nil, just a few loyal friends. Life is not quality. My philosophy now is "qualitity rather than quantity." If the meds are going to shorten my life, that is ok. I need pain relief.
