Can't pinpoint the beginning of my symptoms to an actual injury. Approximately 2011, I noticed that I was achy all the time - also felt a few years before like I had a "foggy brain", thought that is because I wasn't using it as much. I guess that was the first symptom, the foggy brain, forgetting things, misplacing things, not being able to find the words I wanted to use...anyway I went to the doctor in 2011. Thought he was going to tell me that was just a part of getting older, the aches and pains. He tested me for the usual stuff - rheumatoid arthritis, Lyme disease, and a variety of other things. They all were negative. That was over a period of 2 years. In November 2013 he sends me to a rheumatologist as he believes I have either polymyalgia rheumatica or fibromyalgia. The rheumatologist confirms this. My primary treats me but symptoms are not helped. He sends me to a 2nd rheumatologist who starts me on Lyrica again but so far it's not helping.
