i have been in more accidents than i want to count.nothing including class 2 narcotics help.the boxes checked improved were only momentary.swimming makes you weightless,so yes the pain subsides, and i am not a mermaid so cannot stay there indefinitely. ice numbs the pain for a little while but melts.massage helps because the amount of tension and stiffness i hold in my back when massaged is broken up and loosened for a short while.and finally rest if you can call it that is helpful, but its impossible to get comfortable,so up,and down, does not help, the other end of it is resting too much can stiffen you, result in bed sores and the depression that comes with it is then unbearable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
