Chronic lower back pain My Chronic pain is in my lower back and both knees

In 1983 I Ruptured a disc in my lower back, I had a laminectomy, surgery between disc S-1 and L5. While in hospital, after receiving a shot of Demerol for pain, I had a Grand Mal seizure and dislocated my left shoulder, from a drug reaction. Now arthritis has developed in my shoulder.

Back pain was mild ever since operation and just got worse over the years, where now I have found out I have osteopyhties “bone spurs” in lower back and knees. I take pain medications to help relieve the chronic pain.

As a kid growing up I developed Osgood Slatters disease of the knees.

I now have bone spurs in them and constant knee pain and inflammation, knees crack and pop and sometimes they just give out when walking. Physical Therapy helped also Hydalonic acid shots helped

Arthritis in left thumb from an injury cannot straighten it out

Bursitis right big toe and elbows from other injuries.

The medications I am now taking are Hydrocodine help relieve the chronic pain. I also take Lisinopril to control blood pressure. Now having nerve block injections lower back facet joints, left side done seems to help working on right side, i do beleive my DDD between s-1 and L-5 is causing pain also, my insurance will not approve a MRI so i am unable to see a Back surgeon without a MRI catch 22
