I suffered from sciatic pain for 10 years during which I tried PT, massage, injections, radio frequency ablation, chiropractic, pain meds and tens unit.

Finally when my foot and leg began going numb, I went to an orthopedic surgeon who consulted with a second surgeon on my spine. Initially, I had a laminectomy with a cage implanted. 8 months later, my lower curvature was collapsing so I opted for a fusion up to T10 in a two phase surgery.

The surgery was a success but required a third corrective surgery after 60 days. Overall, I am much better and still improving.i have not hit the two year mark yet. I adore my surgeon.
