4 fusion surgeries. I now have narrowing with a disk that I also saw a neurologist for last week. He does not think I should have another fusion done but instead have a cleaning out along the spinal cord to get rid of scar tissue & arthritis. I'm going for a second opinion before I have it done. I have had constant pain since 1998. The fusions have gotten rid of the pain in the areas where they are but I have incredible pain in the buttocks area, both upper & lower buttock & down the back legs. It has ruined my retirement & all the plans my husband & I had planned to do. So tired of this.
