Not an injury. All of the above have helped a little. First surgery was the most invasive action and did the most good. That lasted for 5 years until I did some PT that was too strenuous and started the inflammation process again. I have to use my own judgement to determine the activity that I can do. Now the part of my spine below the surgery has degenerated and the scoliosis is causing the spine to curve and cause tremendous pain. I still am in tremendous pain when I stand and walk. Pain pills, ice, heat, water exercise,and canes and walkers are helping some. I hoping to be able to stand without aid for an increasing gamount of time. I'm working on 2 minutes and going up.
