I had a spinal fusion at L4, L5. Seemed to help for a few years. Now L3 has narrowed and I have a lot of arthritis. Was informed by my surgeon I need surgery again. Will remove the rods, screws and plate from L4 and 5 since they are healed and will replaced new hardware on L3. Decided to hold off on surgery although the pain can be intolerable at times. I am taking Vicoden, gabapentin and going for shots.
