I had a ruptured disk 21 yrs. ago and all went well. Not I have Spinal Stenosis and I need a fusion. My lower disk is closing up and they want to put an artificial disk in the space plus some rods and screws to secure everything in the very low part of my spine. What is your opinion? I tried Physical Therapy, Exercise, shots, etc. and I have pain going down my right leg across my ankle especially painful when I try to sleep. I need to put a pillow under my knees to relieve the pain enough to go to sleep. Also I am on pain medicine all day.
