I am on a long road of treatment. I have always had neck and shoulder problems and dealt with them by using ice, icy hot, TENS unit, and chiro treatments. Lived with the pain. In 2011 I was in a car accident and had ct at hospital where they told me I had thoracic fractures but not from the wreck. I have Lupus and have been on chronic prednisone. This has destroyed my back. I can't even say what all is wrong. When they did the mri of middle and lower back the radiologist said I should have a cervical one done from what he could see at the top of the thoracic. That changed treatment plan as C5-C7 were bad and compressing my cord. So last July I had that fixed. I have a plate and screws. I am now getting ready to schedule the thoracic procedure which is just putting some sort of glue or cement in a few places. Then last surgery is for low back. Large disc protrusion and doc said it will have to be surgery. Legs are very weak right now and I have neuropathy from diabetes.
