I have a herniated disc at C6-7 which is of course the upper back/neck area for 20+ years. I have mitigated any pain from this and get occasional stiffness. In recent years I have been getting not only lower back pain but issues with my lower left leg. At times it shoots to my foot so sciatica is the first thought and then I have gotten so much pain that I could let my wife even touch my thigh it was so sensitive. I don't seem to have full movement. I have had injections in my lower two discs in order to take a trip abroad and just last week had an injection in my bursa. All have helped but my left leg feels like it is bigger than my right (thickness and fullness) and the tightness in my lower back still exists. At time it feels like a rock formation. I can deal with most of the pain with no/minimal pain but have stopped many of the activities I love and more importantly am more concerned about my future mobility. I did a round of Rolfing about 15 years ago and am thinking about it again.
