Treatment Ratings

    Improved
Surgery, Rest, Spinal Fusion Surgery, Laminectomy (Decompression) Surgery
    Not Improved
NSAIDs - Anti Inflammatory drugs, Cortisone Injection, Acupuncture

I have age-related severe spinal stenosis. Had a fusion at L4-5, 13 yrs. ago. It improved for a while. Now, more stenosis,

arthritis, pain----Dr. will not do surgery due to my age ( 83)

Meds do not really help. I am opposed to taking controlled substances. I now take Gabapentin, occasional Tramadol, but do not notice much improvement
