My pain started in my hip and left leg then numbness and tingling in left leg. That was January of 2015. In the summer of same year I experienced severe cramping in both legs especially in hamstrings and also pain in buttocks. This was relieved when lying down but worsened while shopping. After MRI confirmed stenosis and disc slippage I started pt but was told I needed spinal fusion surgery. I was concerned about the surgery and side effects so wanted to try other options. I have received two epidural injections so far and continue stretching per pt. . I can walk a mile to 2 miles a day and sometimes can shop an hour or so. Standing while cleaning or cooking can cause back and leg pain. I have started a swim class and recumbent biking. I am better but still experience pain daily.
