Although I had bouts of lower back ache sporadically prior to waking one day with a crippling pain that felt like I was kicked in the butt. After a couple weeks (shots pills etc..) and no real relief I opted for a laminectomy on L4-5 S1 to alleviate the pressure on my sciatic nerve.. About a month later I was back in pain. (This was no surprise, I was told before hand). I was not going to drag this on. Doctor Levinbergh explained the risks of anterior spinal fusion.

That was 12/09 and I have never regretted a minute of my choice. About 6 mos lite duty. Fitted w/brace. Followed Dr orders. PT.

Dr Levinbergh is a Serious Professional Surgeon. He Is not in the business of be w/friends and making small talk. Just what I needed. Precise. Command. Confidence. No nonsense.Got it done..

Thanks Doc!!
