Went to Neurosurgeon in 2014 with lower back pain. He wouldn't do surgery cause it would start a chain reaction up my spine. He said to take NSAIDs and that if meds stopped working to call that they had other things that could be done. In October of 2015 I started having sharp pains going down both buttocks and into upper thigh in back. I went to chiropracter and massage therapist weekly to try to relieve it. Ended up going back to Neurosurgeon and his associate did nerve ablation on both sides! No pain for a month now! I highly recommend it! Suppose to last 6-18 the meantime I was told to do strengthening excerises and continue massages. Go back in 6 months for a flexing X-ray. I have spondylosthesis in L5 but so far no pain from that.
