Treatment Ratings

I was cutting wood and immediately got a sharp pain in my lower back. It slowly progressed to left leg pain also. My medical physician gave me pain pills and muscle relaxers. It kind of took the edge off but nothing more. He then wanted me to go to therapy, but I know that Chiropractors are experts with lower back problems so I went where friends recommended. Dr. Gabriel took x-rays and explained my problem. He confidently told me he would help but it might take 3-4 weeks. I agreed to proceed with treatment. He gently adjusted my spine which was weird but tolerable. He was doing a procedure that was stretching my back. Afterwards a nurse came in and did a therapy that was an electrical device that stung slightly. I was told a laser too was applied too at the same time. I was then told that I needed to ice often and limited my activity.

I did about 10 treatments spread out by a couple of days and I did improve dramatically. As Dr. Gabriel had indicated, it took about 4 weeks before I was feeling almost normal again. He recommended some regular adjustments to keep proper mobility and position of the spine so I have elected to try it. Actually, so far it seems to make me feel much better in general and other problems I had that weren't bad enough to seek help have resolved. I have been converted to tell everyone about what a Chiropractor can do. I was so nervous that I needed surgery but now feel great.
