I was working as an Occupational Therapist in a Nursing home. A patient tried to prematurely stand from the mat, but almost fell. I turned to catch her as I twisted my body to the side in a rotation movement, the Patients dead wait pulled me down, causing my injury.

The injury occurred this past June,2015.

I was off work, but returned part time at an outpatient clinic also doing home care. But every time I leave work my back is in excruciating pain.

I was advised by my Doctor to switch jobs for now. I revieve Physical Therapy, the therapy has been helping but my job aggreviates the pain.

My PT has also helped to get me stronger, but I fluctuate, when in pain I become weak and cannot perform the exercises.

My Doctor just prescribed Zorvolex for the pain and inflammation, have not started yet. He first suggested an epidural shot. But am reluctant to getting a shot on my back.

Please advise and inform me what other options should I explore. I have an 8 year old Daughter and want to be strong for my family.

Thank you, I appreciate any information.
