I was in an automobile accident (rear ended) in 1980, had chiropractic treatments 3 times a week for months, then was ok for years til about 3 years ago and it started to be painful, cant walk or stand more than 5 min without it hurting, have had ultrasound, MRI, X-rays, radio frequency, and 6 weeks of PT....with water therapy, I am 81, and the surgeon would do surgery but doesn't like to on any over 80, and this would be a 2 yr (maybe without pain) recovery, so I decided not to try that. I take one Hydrocodone a day which helps.......now don't know what else to do except implant the TENS unit.
