I have Spinal Stenosis in L4-L5. I have been getting Epidural Injections every 3-4 months for about 4 years. Some help better than others. I get regular massages. They help a little. I've done PT, Tens, Water Therapy, none of them helped. I take OxyContin for pain. I have to walk with a cane. I consulted with a Neurosurgeon, who was unwilling to do surgery until I loose 100 lbs, although he agreed I needed the surgery. I have already lost over 100 lbs on my own, which has really helped the pain. Like others I checked into The Spine Institute, but they want the money upfront, even though I have great insurance.
