Hurt my back bending over sink in utility room washing hair 18 years ago. Still hurts. Hurts worse when I cough. I use a lot of capzacin hp cream. Use the tens unit when it gets really bad and I take over the counter Ibuprohen, motrin, and aspirin. I do not take them every day and I alternate. Sometimes I have no pain but as soon as I bend the wrong way or have a coughing spell and there it is and it will last for days. I have more bad days with the pain then good. Now I am having pain in both of my knees too. I have tried a lot of different things but nothing takes it away. I do take some supplements. I am not a very consistent person sometimes either.
