I was in an auto accident many years ago. I've had cervical and lumbar surgeries, total of five. The best outcomes I've had was a combination of surgery, narcotics pain meds and a.neurostimulator. After surgery, the pain was worse then before but the numbness was lessened. Physical therapy was of little use but it did help some. Over the counter drugs did nothing to lessen the pain. Sometime the injections worked other times there was no relief. Braces helped.
