Every so often (perhaps about once a year) I get a very sudden sharp pain in my back which causes me to almost collapse in pain. This is often brought on by an unsupported lean, eg. leaning over the bed to pull the duvet back or similar. Usually I have to rest up and try to relax as much as possible. Often it goes away within a couple of days but feels a bit weak for a while so I have to do everything very straight and always support myself when leaning forward.
