Sharp stabbing pains radiating from right hip to ankle down the right leg. This happens frequently, usually in conjunction with menstrual cycle. If I did any lifting or something that caused the pain, I ice with tens unit and follow stretching program designed by my Chiropractor and Physical Therapist. This usually works with in a few days. After 24 hours of the onset, I stop icing the area and use heat. If condition persists for more than 4 days I call my chiropractor for a series of usually only two but sometimes three adjustments.
