I have a pain pump in my left hip. I am on Dialaud. I use a walker. When I stand for even 2 minutes without my walker my back goes into spasms and the pain is a 10+ My primary doctor referred me to physical therapy. he said it is due to tight hip flexors and gave me a set of exercises to stretch my hips and quads. I had both knees replaced. When I had the rt. one done 3 weeks after it was done I sat in a low chair and tore my rt. quad tendon. I could not be repaired so they inserted a cadaver aquilles tendon and it is very tight.
