I'm 83 years old and had back pain 30 years ago bad. My personal doctor gave me 2 cortisone shots and it relieved me immediately and lasted for 25 years. I've seen several doctors, an orthopedist and doctor at Pain Clinic and they don't seem to know how to help
me and would not recommend too much cortisone. After my 3rd MRI, the orthopedist said my back was a "mess" and didn't have any good answers. I have a lot of curvature in my lower spine and I said I didn't want surgery at my age. Otherwise, I'm pretty healthy, but this wears me down. What would you recommend?
