I've had 10 back surgeries and now have a Spinal Cord Stimulator. I wouldn't live with out it. I was on Fentnyl for 15 years. I moved to Illinois and they wouldn't give it to me and wouldn't help be get off of it either. The day after we put my mom to rest I had to go cold turkey off my meds, by myself!!!! Now I'm in so much pain and no one will give me anything to take the pain away. I'm now on 800 mg of IBUPROFEN 3 X's a day with 300mg of Gabapentin 3 X's a day. I've learned to suck it up and live life as much as I can. Just a part of life for me being in pain!!!
