Started out with 2 herniated disc , surgery was my only option at that time, due to excessive arthritis I had a laminanectomy with instrumention. Fusion was used and metal bars to strengthen my back since arthritis was so bad, the other option was a cast. This took place in 1995 and the last few years I am going thru lower back pain. It is difficult to stand and I can barely walk 40 feet. This does not help me since my legs are now weak and can't shop unless I have a scooter. Might have stenosis. I was told this by my Doctor who replaced both my hips due to osteoarthritis. Recommended a spine specialist, which after the holidays I will. Hoping to go to physical therapy. I have went before about 5 years ago which helped, but at that time I could walk.
