Chronic low back pain from straining weak muscles, poor posture, and over-stretching resulting in vicious cycle of injury and debilitation, partial recovery, re-injury and worse debilitation! Massage, nsaids, ice, and rest gave temporary relief. Swimming and Tai Ji helped improve strength and stability. But only the addition of the Gokhale Method of posture modification, specific stretches, and re-learning how to walk and dance(!) from Esther Gokhale's wonderful book and workshop, have I been able to break the pain cycle and keep from re-injury. Better every day!
