Nothing has worked. I have seen three surgeons. They claim only 49% of all back surgeries are successful. If they put a rod or cage in my back they claim what most often happens is the disc above or below go because of the strain. I am in pain so bad that I often can not sleep at night. I can not go on vacation because if I have an episode as they refer to them, i'll be laying in bed. I can not work. I try to stay active but rarely have a clear week.
