Lower back pain for 16 years, and severe sciatic pain for 4 years was debilitating. I couldn't sleep in the night, had severe acidity issues and was tired all the time. I tried PT, heat and ultrasound. All these gave me some relief but nothing long term. Yoga helped for a few hours, but the pain was back after that. I discovered the Gokhale Method and did the Foundations course, and within few days the pain was considerably lower and within 4 months there was almost no pain, and now after 4 years of improved posture, I have not had any back pain at all. From no physical activity, to 12+ hours of exercising every week, I have come a long way! The Gokhale Method has helped me change minor things in all parts of my body, leading to a remarkable sense of well being and pain-free life.
