Large L5-S1 disc herniation revealed by MRI. Sciatic pain down left leg to toe. Extreme pain and dysfunction. Did not respond to rest, activity, massage, chiropractic (made worse), acupuncture, exercise, me checking my head. Miserable end to life as I knew it. Surgery helped but problem recurred (reherniation at L5-S1). A second surgery was recommended. Discovered posture modification (Gokhale Method) to completely resolve all pain and dysfunction.
