I tried chiropractor which relieved pain for short periods. No meds even narcotics didn't touch the pain. 1st surgery was between L5-S1. I couldn't stand, or sit. Even laying hurt. Had a laminectomy. 5 yrs later had a lateral herniation on opposite side between L3-4. Pain was in hips ,down knee &foot. Tried rest then epidural, it lasted 2 days. Surgery again. Pain gone. Occasional numbness to foot when nerve irritated. Osteoarthritis in neck with bone on bone. Neck grinds, pops, clicks when I move. If I sleep to long gets stiff and lose range of motion. I have had epidural for neck that helps.
