My first fusion was C5-T1 in 2007. I hada a Had fusion L5 - S1 in 2009. Have had to take 3 flexaril a day to deal with the muscle spasms that cause pain. I still have pain and my back will put me down with pain. Out of work, barely able to walk... My 2 neck fusions actually hurt worse than my back.....bulging disc as well as a bad bone spur. I had lost total feeling in my left arm. It was dead weight. I again bulged a disc and was fused C7 - T1. I am too stubborn to let it stop me. I still hold a physical full time job. I luckily have a very high pain tolerance. I will end up diabled with my DDD (degenerative disc diarder), but not until it is God's plan..
