I went to several chiropractors, pain specialists, ortho, neurologist surgeons, had every kind of injection available, two back surgeries with 6 vertebrae fused and bone grafts. I have osteo arthritis, osteoporosis, and degenerative disc disease. The way I walk has caused torn meniscus in both knees and torn ACL on right one. I am in pain all the time, take pain pills and pain patches to make it through the day. I was one appointment away from having a nerve ablation and VA decided I make too much money since I started drawing my SS to qualify for benefits. Now I can't afford to have the procedure. I am two years away from Medicare. Life sucks but I keep plodding along with knee braces, back brace, inserts in my shoes, and a cane. I am dieting and that is helping a little, trying to walk when I can stand the pain to walk, and swimming. Maybe someday I will be better!
