I have severe spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, nerve damage in both legs to my feet. I've had many shots that haven't worked. I've had two RFA (burning of the nerves) that didn't work. The last RFA I had done cause me to have fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome and si joint dysfunction as a result of the botched RFA procedure ( dr didn't burn the nerves all the way, yep that can happen, I'm prof). I can't stand, set or walk for 10 minutes without shooting pain. Do to the CDC regulations and war on pain med's I now suffer with no main stream med help (I have never done anything wrong to be treated so poorly). I've learn to meditate when the pain is bad, this does help a great deal. Sometimes I even imagine my spirit leaving my painful body, just close my eyes and imagine I remove myself from my body. I use breathing as a tool to fight chronic pain. I also use whisky when I need sleep, I don't like this treatment but I do like sleep. Pot helps with the nerve damage and spasms but it drops my already low blood pressure (I faint if my BP drops too low) so I can't use much and only the Sativa kind. I hope some of my treatments will help others with there pain. I use a wheelchair when I know I'll have to do a lot of walking.
