Worked as a nurse in labor and delivery, did much heavy lifting over years endured 2 years of ablation for pain relief , had discogram under anesthesia, indicated stenosis at L5S1. Had fusion in May 2015. Pain has worsened . Am now doing second (although first Bowen therapy didn't improve , now doing exercises recommended by PT to lengthen psoas muscles. This has caused increased pain( continuing on norco10-325 and fentanyl patch12.5 mg q 3 days) pain is now around 5 to 6

On pain scale if I do recommended exercises ) have now developed balance pro lems( have fallen twice in 2 week period) have developed knee pain on right knee, inconvenience of stool requiring use of protective paste to help with excoriation around anus. Back specialist now recommending intensive PT, OT, and psychologist review for 5 hours a day , three times weekly. Can't do it. I barely can keep up with PT exercises and I alternate rest with ADLS. What now? This has been the worst 4 years of my life.
