Fell at work left leg went under neath my body. Left arm stayed on top of washer. Right leg went straight out, I hit the floor with my left knee. Had torn rotator cuff, had surgery it went well. However my left knee has never been the same. I had a scope which they fixed 2 meniscus tears.but I have consistently been complaining about my knee giving out on me and I have been continuing falling. Now with that said, I have had injections in my back, cortisone, facet, disectomy,2 discograms ,and need surgery on 3 discs. I opted for pain management, after the first discogram, and for 4 yrs constantly needing more and more to control the pain. I have been off of them for more than a year and a half. But that is not stopping the pain, which is getting worse. The injury occurred in 5/2009. I truly thinking about getting the back surgery, which the doctor said that I have a less than 50% chance of it working for me. Since the injury I have gone from size 8 to 16. Have to take Prozac for severe depression, and diazepam for panic attacks and anxiety. I feel like they are not working for me anymore. I'm not the same person I used to be. I feel like I have no way out of this and doctors don't care.
