The lower back pain came quickly one day at a ballgame. It was diagnosed as spinal stenosis with herniated disc at L4L5. I had 2 epiderals over 7 months and lots of stretching and weight training, etc. I was scheduled for surgery at 7 months when the pain subsided. I cancelled surgery and am now going to physical therapy. My walking was greatly affected during my 1st 7 months. After the pain subsided my walking has improved, but not 100% yet.
