Had sciatica pain for nearly two years then had my left hip replaced. Five weeks later while making the bed I strained my back and was in agony for better than two months. epidural, no help. Chiropractor, no help. I decided to rest more and started getting better. Slept in a recliner for months, just had another epidural and feeling better and able to do stretches for my spinal stenosis. My sciatica pain is caused by the piriformis and hope to have a cortisone shot to relieve that pain. Taking Gabapentin and that is helpful.
