First surgery helped, second, no help, maybe worse. First surgery, discectomy, told I would never walk right again. It was a long, hard recovery but it worked. 9 months post surgery I was walking almost normally and pain levels managed with no medication. Second surgery, laminectomy, no foreseeable complications. Pain never left. Have tried many remedies. Found the tense unit most helpful. Also physical therapy helps if done right. Don't do more than one surgery, and the first one should only happen if you can't walk/move!!! Don't give in. The pain and mobility improve in 4 to 6 months without surgery. I know it's a long time to wait but totally worth changing the course of your life. God Bless.
