Most of my back pain comes from arthritis. I need to keep going physically--walking, exercising, etc. to keep from having more pain. Over the years I have lost 2 to 3 inches in height, from 6ft. 1 to 5ft 10 or even less now at age 81.

My back pain stems from tearing my cruciate ligament which the doctors refused to repair because they would not believe that it was the cause of my back pain. I have been gradually improving over the last ten years.

I've had back pain for over 15 years. Because of scoliosis and arthritis, I've shrunk 4.5 inches in the last ten years. None of the standard treatments that I tried ever gave me any significant improvement. BUT Feldenkrais has been wonderful. My therapist has worked with me for two years now and I've seen great improvement. I recently injured my back in a fall and in just one session I've had relief. I'm working with my Primary Care doctor with x-rays and an MRI to see why there have been significant arthritis changes recently. Feldenkrais has really helped me reduce and management my pain.
