Being in constant pain is miserable. I often can't get out of bed. It hurts to much to walk or even sit in a chair. Some days I can get up for a little while but not long. I use a wheelchair often outside the house and have a mobility/psychiatric/medical alert service dog.
I can't work or do any of the activities I used to enjoy. I hate my life and lifestyle right now. I pray every day for someone to help with this constant pain. I've recently been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and PTSD. I'm falling more often and my Dad told my doctor that I frequently stare off into space and can be unresponsive for several minutes. I had an MRI of my brain yesterday, and I'm scheduled to see a neurologist and have a nerve scan done. As my symptoms have worsened I spend more time in bed. I try to be sure to do the various exercises I learned while in physical therapy years ago that can be done while lying down.

I have a pain pump in my left hip. I am on Dialaud. I use a walker. When I stand for even 2 minutes without my walker my back goes into spasms and the pain is a 10+ My primary doctor referred me to physical therapy. he said it is due to tight hip flexors and gave me a set of exercises to stretch my hips and quads. I had both knees replaced. When I had the rt. one done 3 weeks after it was done I sat in a low chair and tore my rt. quad tendon. I could not be repaired so they inserted a cadaver aquilles tendon and it is very tight.
