Morton's Neuroma
I have suffered from Morton's Neuroma for over 8 years now. I think I have tried all the possible cures fron Orthotics to Cortizone shots to Alchol series shuts (10 sessions) to Acuponcture. Te pain continued as I was running, cycling dancing and hiking. On my last Triathalon this past April 1st the pain was more overwhelming than the effort of competing in a Half Ironman. So I finally decided to take the final step Surgery. I read lots of reviews on the web on Surgery but decided that since I tried all other options it was time. I work at a school and walk a lot. I have tried orthotics prescribed by foot doctors, have had injections for the neuroma's and am dealing now with the beginnings of a hammer toe. I used to love to walk - a lot, but now the pain has become more than I can bear at times. I take only over the counter supplements and am not on any prescription medicines for anything.

Been to podiatrist's total of 6 visits. Had custom orthotics made for shoes. Had those reworked at least 5 times. Tried chiropractor. That helped for a while. Pain is from ball of foot into toes. Sometimes feels like electric shocks shooting down big toe. Sometimes just numb. Pain almost always.
