I had both knees replaced at the same time. It was pure hell. But it worked for me. I spent several years with a cane, walker and riding a scooter. At first a team of docs said I was too young at 60 for the surgery. Then at 65 I was overweight. I took shots in my knees until they quit working. At 66, I retired and relocated and was blessed with a doctor that did a bilevel knee replacement and gave me my life back. I'm not 100 percent yet. But at 95 percent I have my life back.
