Age, 75.

Have taken Glycosamine+Chondroitan for 10 years. After 4-6 months had full control of pain, poppig, slipping & general function while walking, getting out of chairs, car, climing/ descending stairs, kneeling, etc.- The consistant use of Glucosamine+Chondroitin worked !! Then with no contributing injury, overnite I suffered pain lack of movement & function in both knees. However, much worse in Left Knee !! After 3 weeks, had appt w/ knee surgeon. Elected to try chortizone injection, to reduce inflamation & pain. Followed up with a series of 3 "Synvisc" injections, 1 week apart. Now 10 days post treatment, the pain & lack of function have both returned. Very disappointed in results from Syncisc Injections. !! Is there anything else , beside surgery. My husband has had both knees replaced, He can barely stand in 1 place for long, walk easily or kneel..... !! So, surgery fo me is not an option !
