I have had my right knee scoped twice for torn meniscus and my left knee once. Now both are severe bone on bone. Dr Petty said I needed total knee replacement for both knees a couple of years ago. I read all the book they gave me and couldn't do it. Now I got Orthovist injections every 6 months and so far that lasts 5 months before the pain starts again. This May the back pain hit out of nowhere. Learned I have 3 bulging discs, a pinched nerve, scoliosis and stenosis from my arm pits down. I was in a wheelchair from May 1st until 3 weeks ago and am using a walker now but can't stand up straight anymore. The tenns unit was wonderful after my surgery for torn rotator cuff but it doesn't help my knees. I really haven't found anything that helps except the injections. I don't have any pain medication. Maybe I should try taping.
