I've had this condition from childhood , osgood schlaters disease, my knees were always inflamed, as I got older osteoarthritis set in . I've had cortisone and synvisc injections , both helped for awhile . NSAIDs helped for awhile , I was told years ago i needed replacements . Pain is so great now . Nothing works , now my hips are shot too.
