I had a skiing accident in 1993 and tore all of the ligaments in my knee. They were replaced and I was in a cast for 6 months.

Recently, I was reaching in the car to get something and my knee was right on the door jam when a huge gust of wind slammed the door right on my knee. After that, I couldn't walk or even put weight on it. There are extremely sharp pains when I walk and I still cannot walk up stairs. Of course, the pains happen when I try to walk downstairs as well.

I am basically not functional with my knee like this.
