Laser treatments work best, as I feel almost immediate relief from pain. Opioids don't work at all, neither do glucosamine-chondroitin supplements. Massage works sometimes, as do stretching/strengthening exercises. Cortisone and synvisc injections work great, but don't last very long. Anti-inflammatory medications vary in effectiveness. Surgery was also temporary in terms of relief from pain.
